Why We Built This Site
Connecticut makes many records available, yet no single Tolland County database holds them all. Police agencies keep incident reports, Superior Court keeps filed charges and dispositions, SPBI maintains statewide history, and CT DOC maintains custody data. The site brings together verified portals, request steps, fees, and office contacts while preserving those boundaries.
What You Will Find Here
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are searched and read in Tolland County
- Official check walkthroughs: how name-based and fingerprint background checks work through the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, State Police Bureau of Identification repository
- Agency contacts: where to reach Rockville G.A. 19, Troop C, municipal police, SPBI, and CT DOC
- Record cleanup help: how Connecticut erasure, Clean Slate, and pardons affect official records
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Connecticut court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file erasure petitions, records requests, or other paperwork on a visitor's behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the office that maintains a record can issue an official or certified copy. That may be the court clerk, the police agency, SPBI, CT DOC, or the registry unit.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
